About The Position

At Regions, the Risk Cyber Security Manager directs a team of Cyber Security Engineers and/or Information Systems Engineers to safeguard information system assets and data by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field
Seven (7) years of experience
Five (5) years of supervisory/managerial experience

Nice To Haves

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
other industry certification
Ability to prioritize assignments while working on multiple projects
Excellent written and oral communications skills

Responsibilities

Directs a team of Cyber Security Engineers and/or Information Systems Engineers
Determines user requirements, establishes priorities, and monitors progress
Develops Information Security (IS) security architecture/designs, plans, controls, processes, standards, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with IS standards and overall lS security strategy
Manages the evaluation and testing of hardware, firmware, and software for possible impact on systems security
Coordinates with other managers to integrate IS project components with other projects including application development, network, server, and mainframe
Evaluates and assesses the security of external vendors
