Caterpillar is seeking a Risk & Compliance Professional within our Global Machine Pricing (GMP) team. This is an exciting role that will assist in identifying, assessing and remediating control gaps and will contribute to the continuous strengthening of the internal control environment.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience desired
  • Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in compliance and/or pricing.
  • Project management capabilities with the ability to plan and execute projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to various levels of leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead compliance initiatives related to GMP processes
  • Own and coordinate audits, corrective action plans and follow up activities
  • Coordinate annual reviews and updates of GMP pricing policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Identify potential risk and compliance vulnerabilities; developing corresponding corrective action plans for resolution
  • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for compliance topics
