About The Position

We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented people for our Risk Analyst position.

Requirements

• High School graduate/GED required
• Minimum two years’ experience in a professional setting
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively
• Commitment to continued development of skills and knowledge
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong command of technology
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products – particularly Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Must embody the Heffernan Habits as referenced herein

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of insurance industry practices and regulations preferred

Responsibilities

• Creating underwriting submissions
• Analyzing insurance exposure and claims data
• Producing insurance documents
• Responding to customer questions and requests
• Analyzing coverage and coverage documents
• Other duties and special technical projects as assigned
