About The Position

At Bank of America, this role supports data and technology requests, complex reporting and analysis, and modeling to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses. The specialist reviews and analyzes portfolio trends, supports development of databases or queries to extract data, and helps produce data for internal and external reporting needs. The role works with Technology to implement changes that support ongoing data needs.

The position supports Risk and business partners through reporting and analysis, contributes to strategic initiatives across Risk functions and lines of business, and helps address data quality and control issues. The role is a first-shift position with 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of reporting that enables Risk and business partners to identify and manage risk.
• Analyze trends and support data design, portfolio trends, loss trends, and portfolio dynamics to ensure alignment with business strategies.
• Provide analytical support for product strategic initiatives affecting multiple Risk functions and lines of business.
• Participate in developing database production processes and performance reports for senior management, using data mining and other advanced analytical techniques to aggregate data.
• Support responses to complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external parties.
• Support cross-functional efforts to remediate data quality issues.
• Monitor control outputs and investigate alerts from control checks.
• Work with Technology to implement changes necessary to support ongoing data needs.
