This job is responsible for leading a team supporting data and technology requests, complex reporting and analysis, and modeling to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses. Key responsibilities include managing the review and analysis of portfolio trends, directing the development of more complex databases or queries to extract data, and supporting the production of data for internal and external reporting needs. Global Risk Analytics (GRA) is a sub-line of business within Global Risk Management (GRM), responsible for developing a consistent and coherent set of models, analytical tools, and tests for effective risk and capital measurement, management and reporting across Bank of America. GRA partners with the Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to ensure the capabilities it builds address both internal and regulatory requirements, and are responsive to the changing nature of portfolios, economic conditions, and emerging risks. In executing its activities, GRA drives innovation, process improvement and automation. Role Overview: The Risk Analysis Manager leads a team of Risk Analysis Specialists responsible for delivering data, analytics, reporting, and insights that inform decision-making and support risk management across the Bank. This role provides leadership, coaching, and oversight to ensure analytical deliverables are accurate, actionable, well-controlled, and aligned to business priorities. The manager partners closely with senior leaders, business partners, technology teams, and risk stakeholders to translate complex data and risk challenges into scalable analytical solutions. The role is also responsible for driving continuous improvement, strengthening governance, and leveraging Bank-approved AI capabilities to enhance productivity, analytical effectiveness, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities will include: People Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Risk Analysis Specialists while establishing a high-performance culture focused on quality, accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth. Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Partnership: Partner with senior leaders, business stakeholders, risk partners, and technology teams to understand priorities, define requirements, and deliver data-driven solutions that support strategic objectives and informed decision-making. Analytics, Reporting & Insights: Oversee the development and delivery of executive reporting, dashboards, analytics, and data-driven insights that identify trends, quantify risk, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Data Management & Analytical Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of data models, SQL-based solutions, analytical frameworks, and reporting processes that enable scalable, efficient, and accurate analysis across complex data environments. Governance, Risk & Control Management: Promote strong governance and control practices by ensuring analytical processes, documentation, methodologies, and reporting outputs are accurate, sustainable, compliant, and well-controlled. Operational Excellence & Innovation: Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify data structures, automate manual processes, leverage AI-enabled capabilities, and enhance the overall user experience for reporting and analytics consumers.
