The position requires translating firm vision into an actionable business plan, collaborating with marketing on sales and marketing strategies, investigating expansion opportunities, and pursuing new clients. It also involves coordinating firm resources, ensuring team members receive meaningful training and development, and overseeing practice profitability. The role requires working closely with client executives to understand their businesses, identify and manage financial and operational risks, and ensure technology risks are managed. This includes developing in-depth client knowledge through direct interaction, thinking strategically about client businesses and risks, and providing recommendations for improvements. The Principal will provide strategic business advice, assist in implementing new processes and controls, and assess, manage, and optimize business risk across various areas like operational audit, ERM, and SOX compliance. Responsibilities include reviewing client processes and controls, identifying gaps, and communicating issues and recommendations. A significant aspect of the role is new business development, specifically targeting large health systems in the PA, NJ, and NY region for risk advisory opportunities. The role also entails producing comprehensive executive summaries and final reports, documenting engagement work papers, and acting as a valued business advisor to clients.
