Reporting to the Manager, Diagnostic Imaging, the RIS/PACS Analyst provides advanced operational, analytical, and technical support for Diagnostic Imaging information systems, including RIS, PACS, Enterprise Imaging, voice recognition, and associated clinical imaging applications. The incumbent is responsible for supporting, configuring, monitoring, optimizing, and enhancing Diagnostic Imaging information systems to ensure the integrity, availability, performance, and reliability of imaging workflows across the organization. The role serves as a technical resource for Diagnostic Imaging by providing expertise in clinical workflows, imaging informatics, system integrations, workflow optimization, data integrity, reporting, testing, and implementation of new technologies. Working collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, technologists, Information Technology, clinical leaders, vendors, and external partners, the RIS/PACS Systems Analyst supports enterprise imaging initiatives, continuous quality improvement, and digital transformation projects while ensuring compliance with organizational, provincial, and regulatory standards.
