Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a safety-sensitive environment.
• Ability to make sound judgments.
• Ability to stand continuously during assigned shift and lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, and kneel.
• Able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the city-designated areas
• Responsible for landscaping and manual collection of bulky items and debris within the ROW program-designated areas
• May perform weed-abating duties, such as using weed eaters, mowers, blowers, rakes, shovels, etc., to clean and clear curb lines, alleys, and fields.
• Exit and enter truck on a continuous basis
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle at all times.
• Maintain, store, and properly use equipment at all times
• Adhere to safety guidelines
• Assist with road call clean-ups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
