About The Position

Seeking a Right-of-Way Due Diligence Agent with experience interpreting easements, reviewing land records, and supporting midstream pipeline and gathering system projects. This role is responsible for analyzing right-of-way documents, reviewing title and property information, interpreting surveys and plats, maintaining land-related data, and supporting land administration activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with midstream assets and gathering systems, possess a strong understanding of easements and property rights, and be comfortable reviewing complex land documentation. Candidates should be detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and experienced with GIS and database systems commonly used in land and right-of-way operations. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Houston, Texas with the potential for long-term employment opportunities. No travel or vehicle requirements are associated with this role.

Requirements

  • Midstream and/or gathering system experience
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting easements and right-of-way agreements
  • Ability to review and interpret alignment sheets, surveys, and plats
  • Working knowledge of title research and property ownership documentation
  • Database experience
  • Experience with GIS tools such as Google Earth, ArcGIS, or similar platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Must be eligible to permanently work in the United States

  • Additional title and due diligence experience
  • Experience supporting pipeline development or operations projects
  • Advanced GIS and mapping experience
  • Experience working with land administration systems and databases
  • Knowledge of pipeline right-of-way documentation and records management

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret easements and right-of-way agreements
  • Analyze and understand provisions contained within land and easement documents
  • Review alignment sheets, surveys, plats, and related property records
  • Support due diligence efforts for midstream and gathering system projects
  • Research title information and ownership records
  • Maintain and update land-related databases and documentation
  • Utilize GIS and mapping tools to support land and right-of-way activities
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies within land records and project documentation
  • Collaborate with land, engineering, operations, and project teams as needed
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of land and right-of-way records
