About The Position

Kleinfelder’s Century Engineering is seeking a Right-of-Way Agent/Appraiser for its Trevose or Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania office. The position provides administrative support to the group and assists with Right-of-Way assignments involving real estate acquisition, relocation advisory assistance, and property management administration. Candidates may be required after an offer to complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report, and a comprehensive background check.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of real estate practices and principles.
• Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possession of a current notary seal or ability to obtain one.
• Experience providing Right-of-Way services in Maryland.

Nice To Haves

• College education preferred.
• Residential Appraisal License preferred.
• Civil engineering education and/or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with negotiations with landowners.
• Read and interpret property appraisals, title reports, plans, and legal descriptions.
• Assist with evaluating eligibility for relocation benefit payments.
• Assist with property management tasks and work with clients to clear Right-of-Way.
