About The Position

LJ Inc. is seeking a Rigger/Machinery Mover to safely transport and install industrial machinery and perform rigging operations on equipment and structures such as stamping presses, weld cells, assembly cells, fixtures, and mezzanines. The role operates lifting and material-handling equipment, leads and coordinates project crews, communicates job progress to customers and internal project teams, follows company safety procedures, and trains apprentices and team members.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in industrial machinery installation and removal.
• Experience operating gantries, overhead cranes, and mobile cranes.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel.

Nice To Haves

• CDL-A is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and install machinery of various sizes.
• Perform rigging operations on stamping presses, weld cells, assembly cells, fixtures, and mezzanines.
• Operate gantries, overhead cranes, mobile cranes, and forklifts.
• Lead and coordinate crews on small- and large-scale projects.
• Communicate job progress clearly to customers, project managers, and estimators.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
• Train apprentices and team members in rigging techniques and equipment operation.
