About The Position

Henke Industrial is seeking experienced riggers, machinery movers, and millwright support personnel for part-time, project-based work throughout the U.S. We move heavy industrial equipment, support plant shutdowns, and handle installation projects on tight schedules. This is a great fit for someone who is retired or semi-retired from the trade and wants to stay sharp, wants supplemental income without a full-time commitment, enjoys hands-on industrial work and travel, and has a background in rigging, millwright work, or heavy industrial moves.

Requirements

• Industrial rigging, millwright, or machinery moving experience
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in active industrial environments
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand and power tools
• Ability to travel periodically on an as-needed basis

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience
• Rigging certifications
• Millwright background

Responsibilities

• Rigging and relocating industrial machinery
• Loading and unloading heavy equipment
• Setting machinery on foundations and leveling/aligning
• Working alongside experienced rigging and millwright crews
• Occasional overnight and multi-day travel
