Rigger / Machinery Mover — Project-Based / Travel
About The Position
Henke Industrial is seeking experienced riggers, machinery movers, and millwright support personnel for part-time, project-based work throughout the U.S. We move heavy industrial equipment, support plant shutdowns, and handle installation projects on tight schedules. This is a great fit for someone who: Is retired or semi-retired from the trade and wants to stay sharp, wants supplemental income without a full-time commitment, and enjoys hands-on industrial work and travel. Typical work includes rigging and relocating industrial machinery, loading and unloading heavy equipment, setting machinery on foundations, and leveling/aligning. You will be working alongside experienced rigging and millwright crews and may have occasional overnight and multi-day travel.
Requirements
- Industrial rigging, millwright, or machinery moving experience
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in active industrial environments
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand and power tools
- Ability to travel periodically on an as-needed basis
