About The Position

This is a full-time, year-round position for a Rides Mechanic. The role involves conducting daily safety inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting/repairing rides, vehicles, and other equipment. Adherence to safety rules and regulations, accurate documentation of time and materials, and maintaining a clean work environment are essential. The position also includes assisting coworkers and undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 18 years old.
• Basic tools needed to perform job duties.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be evaluated on an individual basis.
• Valid driver’s license for use of company vehicles.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections of rides.
• Perform required preventive maintenance on rides, vehicles, and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair rides, vehicles, and other equipment including subsystems.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations when performing assignments.
• Document time and materials used in performing duties.
• Maintain a clean environment, including tools and equipment, by following company guidelines.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections.
• Assist coworkers as requested.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
