Ride Attendants are responsible for operating, supervising, monitoring, and attending to park rides. Attendants are also responsible for boarding and securing passengers, starting rides, and ensuring passengers exit safely.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
• Must be able to lift tables and move heavy objects.
• Must be able to test ride attractions to ensure ride is in proper working condition before park opens.
• Must be able to inspect equipment to detect wear and tear.
• Must be able to maintain a professional image.
• Must be able to multi-task while being attentive to guests and remain flexible to the needs of the business.
• Must be able to ensure guests are the appropriate height and age for rides.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.
• Must be able to follow all company policies and procedures while protecting company assets.
• Must be able to report any theft or suspicious activity to management ASAP.
• Must take pride in wardrobe & appearance.

Responsibilities

• Enforce and operate attractions rules and regulation.
• Recognize and prevent safety hazards to ensure the safety of all guests and associates.
• Latch passengers in securely.
• Board passengers onto ride.
• Explain safety procedures to riders.
• Working effectively individually or as a team member to follow the park facility emergency action plan.
• Clean and sweep surrounding areas.
• Ensure guests are the appropriate height and age for rides.
• Lift tables and move heavy objects.
• Test ride attractions to ensure ride is in proper working condition before park opens.
• Inspect equipment to detect wear and tear.
• Keeping employee break room area clean.
• Maintain a professional image.
• Multi-task while being attentive to guests and remain flexible to the needs of the business.
• Make certain all company policies and procedures are adhered to by guests.
• Always ensure a safe working environment for all guests and employees.
