About The Position

This role involves maintaining appropriate patient documentation in the EMR record, performing EKGs and interpretations, Holter hookups, scanning Holters and generating physician reports, and reviewing event monitor strips. The technician will also be involved in remote pacemaker, defibrillator, and loop monitoring, as well as in-office interrogations and reprogramming. Additionally, the role includes EP abnormal testing tasking, patient record updates, and face-to-face collaboration with providers to establish and follow through with patient care plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Electrophysiology, Telemetry, or Cardiology Experience i.e., rhythm interpretations, Holter scanning, telemetry monitoring, device interrogation and or remote transmissions
  • CRAT certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with remote pacemaker, defibrillator, and loop monitoring (can train on site)
  • Experience with in-office pacemaker, defibrillator, and loop monitor interrogations & reprogramming (can train on site)
