The ideal candidate will be a superb clinician who is patient-centric, dedicated to service and quality, and wishes to have a balanced lifestyle. The Rheumatology Department in State College includes 2 physicians and a nurse practitioner. The department is based in our State College office (Patton Forest), but also performs outreach services to nearby Geisinger Groups including Lewistown, Philipsburg and Huntingdon. Why Join Us? Requirements

  • Board Eligible (BE) and Board Certified (BC) within 4 years of starting employment.
  • New graduates and seasoned providers are welcome.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)
  • Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient care for patients with rheumatologic diseases.
  • Manage a diverse case mix including vasculitis, connective tissue diseases, osteoporosis, and metabolic bone disease.
  • Conduct telehealth and in-person visits.
  • Participate in teaching and research activities, including clinical trials.
