About The Position

Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Rheumatologist to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We're all about well-being, starting with yours. We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid malpractice insurance. Practice Highlights: Monday-Friday with 36 hours of direct patient care and 4 hours of administrative time. Call is in rotation with the group. Telemedicine options available. System-Wide EPIC EMR.

Requirements

M.D/DO.
Board eligible or certified in Rheumatology.
NM License Required

Responsibilities

Makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
Manages the physician/patient relationship.
Participates in systemwide health management initiatives.
Provides input into the practice sites financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
Receives and resolves patient complaints.
Participates in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops.
Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost effective treatment of patients with rheumatologic disorders.
Performs other functions as required.
