About The Position

ChristianaCare is seeking a clinician educator or a BE/BC Rheumatologist to join their established team and new ACGME-approved Rheumatology Fellowship Program. The role involves providing state-of-the-art, patient-centered care to optimize function and well-being. This position offers the opportunity to practice rheumatology across ChristianaCare's Delaware campuses in Newark and Wilmington, DE, and at ChristianaCare Union Hospital in Elkton, Maryland. The position includes significant time for remote appointments and teaching opportunities for residents and medical students. The practice manages a patient volume of 12-14 per day, with new patient appointments at 45 minutes and follow-ups at 30 minutes. New equipment, such as MSK US, is available at both locations. The role also offers the chance to obtain core faculty designation and a faculty appointment to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Requirements

  • BC/BE Rheumatology
  • Ability to be licensed in the State of Maryland and Delaware
  • Meet credentialing requirements

Responsibilities
