About The Position

ChristianaCare is seeking a clinician educator, Board Eligible or Board Certified in Rheumatology, to join their established team and new ACGME-approved Rheumatology Fellowship Program in Newark, DE. The role involves providing state-of-the-art, patient-centered care to optimize function and well-being. This position offers the opportunity to teach residents and medical students, manage complex cases, and benefit from a manageable patient volume with dedicated appointment times. Access to new equipment like MSK US is available, and the role includes obtaining core faculty designation and a faculty appointment to Thomas Jefferson University. Hospital call is expected every 4-5 weeks.

Requirements

BC/BE in Rheumatology
Must attain a Delaware State Medical License and meet credentialing requirements prior to their start date.

Conduct new patient appointments (45 mins) and follow-up appointments (30 mins).

Participate in hospital call every 4-5 weeks.
