About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens opportunity for a Rheumatologist in Rogers, AR. The role involves outpatient clinical coverage only, with a focus on managing a patient volume of 12-14 per day. The coverage period is from ASAP until June 30, 2027, with a shift schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system and provides support staff including 2 RNs and 1 MA. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the agency.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Valid Arkansas (AR) medical license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Responsibilities
- Manage Infusion Treatments for Patients
- Familiarity with Intravenous Therapy
- Perform Diagnostic Taps
- Perform Joint/Soft Tissue Injections
- Perform Bone Mineral Density studies
