About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RH OpenShift GitOps (ArgoCD) Senior Consultant to join our team. This hybrid position, based in Boulder, Colorado, focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise GitOps solutions within Red Hat OpenShift environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in OpenShift administration, Kubernetes, GitOps practices, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and enterprise DevSecOps methodologies. You will be instrumental in configuring and managing OpenShift clusters, developing robust CI/CD pipelines, and automating deployments. This role involves integrating security controls, modernizing legacy applications, and providing technical leadership across DevOps initiatives. You will also be responsible for creating operational documentation and leading client-facing solution engagements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Linux systems administration, DevOps, or cloud platform engineering
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift
  • Strong expertise with ArgoCD and GitOps deployment methodologies
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
  • Deep understanding of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Go
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management concepts
  • Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and containerized applications
  • Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise GitOps solutions using ArgoCD within Red Hat OpenShift environments
  • Configure and manage OpenShift clusters across on-premises and cloud platforms
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton, or Azure DevOps
  • Automate deployment, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
  • Implement Kubernetes best practices for scalability, resiliency, monitoring, and security
  • Manage containerized workloads and troubleshoot complex platform issues
  • Integrate security controls and compliance requirements into DevOps workflows (DevSecOps)
  • Collaborate with development teams to modernize legacy applications into cloud-native architectures
  • Configure role-based access controls (RBAC), secrets management, and policy enforcement
  • Support monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for OpenShift environments
  • Lead architecture discussions, technical workshops, and client-facing solution engagements
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across DevOps initiatives
  • Create operational documentation, deployment standards, and automation runbooks
