About The Position

This role will lead a team of supervisors in the Regional Fulfillment Center to ensure the operational activities are met or exceeded. Their focus will be to hire, engage and develop a highly effective salaried and hourly workforce that will consistently achieve the company goals in a manner consistent with our company values. This role reports to the RFC Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • AA Degree or equivalent: or 2-3 years related experience.
  • Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety, food safety protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to conduct business on the telephone & E-mail professionally and accurately for extended period of time.
  • Interface with Store Operations and Managers continuously.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Able to sit, stand, bend, twist, and turn body as needed for the entirety of the shift.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Physically able to operate pallet jacks.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for the shift and covering the entire leadership upon absence of Manager.
  • Leads a team of supervisors to ensure each shift meets or exceeds the operation’s daily and weekly goals.
  • Fosters a safety culture through demonstrative leadership.
  • Holds self and team accountable on general sanitation and food safety practices.
  • Use system tools and spreadsheets to analyze data and create labor plans.
  • Use system tools to monitor the health of the operation.
  • Holds self, supervisors, and personnel accountable to budget plans for labor and other expenditures.
  • Ensures the daily operation is balanced between Shipping and Receiving.
  • Leads employee engagement and performance feedback.
  • Ensures all supervisors consistently engage in the same manner.
  • Effectively leads supervisors by modeling conflict resolution, problem solving, and self- development skills.
  • Participates in mentorship programs and Individual Development Plans.
  • Routinely holding 1:1 and skip level meetings.
  • Hold periodic meetings with hourly employees and supervisors.
  • Coordinates and partner with cross functional departments (Transportation, Inventory Control, Corporate, and other supporting areas) on operational deliverables.
  • Identify achievable goals that positively impact key metrics.
