About The Position

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Test Technician Level 5 to perform operational testing on a variety of moderately complex RF and microwave production components. In this role, you will be critical to the successful production and technical support for our Engineering and other teams, ensuring our products achieve their intended functions and delivery schedule in a satisfactory manner to all of our customers. This position is based in Woburn, MA, with an on-site work schedule and a day shift starting at 6:30 am.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Test Technician in a manufacturing/electronics environment.
Knowledge of equipment associated within the Test functions in a manufacturing environment.
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Timekeeping system, ERP system, Routing, etc.).
Possess a Valid security clearance either or the ability to obtain one.
Required experience in Top Assembly RF tuning, preferred subassembly tuning experience.
Manually tuning and testing RF devices to specific parameters, 1- 28 GHZ.
Experience Measuring competency medium- high complex complexity hardware.
Demonstrated understanding of AS 9100.
Operating within an RF test and measurement science background, inclusive of measurement techniques for power, s-parameters, noise figure and other crucial RF/mmW test parameters.
Experience with RF hardware design/integration and measurement system programming.
Familiarity with advanced automation and mechanical test fixture designs.
Experience in defense, aerospace, or military industry.
Knowledge of radar principles.
Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status) due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Experience troubleshooting to a component level: MMIC amps, SMT resistors/capacitors/diodes, RF board tuning.

Responsibilities

Determines compliance to test specifications, using methods and procedures from schematics, drawings, standard work, and block diagrams.
Performs tasks including but not limited to: set-up, calibration, and testing and troubleshooting of instruments, RF and DC circuits, assemblies, components, and other systems and equipment.
Performs tasks on Medium Complexity Hardware.
Assists in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
May provide guidance to entry level production test technicians and support workers.
