About The Position

Qorvo is seeking a Senior RF Engineering Technician to join the Test Engineering Group within its High Performance Analog Products team. The role supports Design Validation Testing in a fast-paced RF laboratory and involves hands-on DC and RF testing from DC to millimeter-wave frequencies. The position is located in Richardson, Texas, and is not eligible for company-sponsored visa support or relocation.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent amount of experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in RF component testing.
• Ability to multitask in a consistently evolving environment.
• Proficiency with PXI systems, RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, noise figure analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
• Knowledge of RF testing, including S-parameters, noise figure, power, pulsed power, high-power RF, TOI, harmonics, ACP, video bandwidth (VBW), digital pre-distortion (DPD), modulation testing (AM/AM, AM/PM, PAM, etc.), and modulation schemes such as LTE/TDD, WCDMA, and QAM.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-player approach and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Conduct DC and RF testing from DC to mmWave frequencies in an RF lab environment.
• Contribute to the Design Validation Testing process.
• Set up and calibrate S-parameter and power test stations according to Qorvo standards.
• Perform limited test setup troubleshooting and assemble fixtures and wire harnesses.
• Interact with test development engineers to support test setup improvements when applicable.
• Report test progress to the manager and customers.
• Support training sessions and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
