About The Position

TSC is seeking an RF Electronics Technician located in our Huntsville, AL to support our Radar and Precision Weapons Development Division. TSC's Radar and Precision Weapons Development Division provides products and services in the areas of radar, communication systems, sensors, antennas and other electronics systems to the missile, radar/sensor system, communications, control systems, data acquisition, and signal processing markets. The company has developed products ranging from chip-level, application-specific, integrated circuits (ASIC) to complete, turnkey radar and communication systems. TSC has established a state-of-the-art hardware capability that is well respected by customers in Government and Industry. TSC also provides full spectrum systems engineering support including theoretical analysis, requirements generation, interface control, and test planning/execution/data analysis.

Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent related to aerospace or electronics.
At least 15 years of electronics technician experience.
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Proficient in operating RF test equipment: signal generator, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, etc.
Strong understanding of electrical tools and equipment; crimpers, dies, multimeter, presses, connectors, contacts, wire gauges/types, soldering, etc.
Experience working in a design team environment with vendors, customers, and peer engineers.

Responsibilities

Assembly, testing, reworking, and repairing according to IPC Standards.
Debugging RF and digital issues on PWAs with minimal guidance from design engineers.
Prioritizing work and supporting multiple programs in parallel.
