In this Technician role, you will be part of a hard-charging, professional team tasked with implementing, operating, installing, fixing, and continually optimizing our rapidly expanding worldwide systems. If you are in a NOC role but are looking to expand your knowledge on RF systems with support from Engineers and robust training program then this is the job for you. In this role you will be working alongside our RF Engineers to operate and manage the RF systems for our many Satellite Earth Stations. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with numerous internal and external workgroups, you will be managing Break/Fix incidents, creating troubleshooting documents, Monitoring the systems. Being a member of the RF team, you will be involved in cutting edge technology in the RF world. Come on board and use your detective skills to identify root causes for technical issues as well as develop procedural/technical recommendations for improvement. If you are a sleuth and problem solver then it is time to join our RF Team! In this role you will be expose to many different gateways and a part of our amazing new products being launched. If the Federal Executive Order for Government Contractors becomes effective, this role may require vaccination. In such instance, absent an approved accommodation based on a religious or medical reason, employees in this role will be required to be fully vaccinated no later than applicable deadlines, which are unknown at this point. This is a site‑based role, employees work 3+ days (60%+) per week from a Viasat office or work location within a standard five‑day workweek.
