About The Position

KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. KBR is seeking a highly qualified Radio Frequency (RF) Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will possess an understanding of Digital Signal Processing techniques, insight into RF mission fundamentals, and the ability to perform analysis and/or modeling and simulation of complex space systems. The candidate will support development and validation of requirements, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), architecture products, system schedules, and risks for end-to-end closure. The candidate will evaluate ELINT, SIGINT, COMINT R&D projects. Analysis of RF systems, performance metrics, timelines, and models Modeling and Simulation of RF systems Identify and document issues impacting both spacecraft and ground systems through objective analysis and processes Provide technical expertise in systems and engineering to support RF enterprise mission operations activities, programs, systems, and processes Evaluate RF R&D projects, advising on technical maturation from low TRL to transition Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences Participate in system design reviews and technical interchange meetings Interface with customers, directorate/office representatives, and across system engineering groups to drive resolution plans and strategies for complex technical challenges. Generate and maintain technical documentation and reports.

Requirements

  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required
  • Bachelors in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
  • 8+ years' experience in RF engineering
  • Experience with SIGINT technical topics
  • Experience with satellite systems and RF mission fundamentals
  • Experience with CONOPs, architecture products, and/or requirements
  • Strong communication skills to interface with customers, directorate/office representatives, and across system engineering groups
  • Ability to generate and maintain technical documentation and reports

Nice To Haves

  • Masters or Ph.D.
  • Prior experience with SIGINT technical topics
  • Prior experience with satellite systems and RF mission fundamentals

Responsibilities
