RF Systems Engineer 2
About The Position
Columbia Technology Partners is seeking an experienced RF Systems Engineer 2 to support advanced RF and SIGINT systems. The role focuses on system administration, integration, and end-to-end systems engineering for complex collection platforms operating across Linux and Windows environments. The engineer works across hardware and software components and supports environments that include DRT, NiFi, ONEROOF, DARKQUEST, and FORNSAT technologies. The position involves systems engineering across the lifecycle, including requirements development, system design, integration, testing, verification, validation, documentation, and sustainment. The engineer will coordinate with technical teams and Government stakeholders on technical issues, risks, performance, and lifecycle activities.
Requirements
- 14+ years of Systems Engineering experience supporting programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university; five additional years of Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph is required.
- DOD 8570 Certification is required.

- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a security background investigation and polygraph.

Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems supporting RF and collection platforms, including software installation and network configuration.
- Analyze CONOPS, system architectures, and user requirements to develop and manage system requirements and specifications.
- Lead system design, integration, and development across hardware and software components in alignment with DoDAF and SOA frameworks.
- Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation, including Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and requirements specifications.
- Maintain requirements traceability and support compliance throughout the systems engineering lifecycle.
- Support system integration, testing, verification, and validation across environments leveraging DRT, NiFi, ONEROOF, DARKQUEST, and FORNSAT.
- Provide technical leadership and cross-functional coordination through design reviews, Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), and program reviews.
- Work with Government stakeholders to address technical issues, risks, system performance, and lifecycle sustainment, including C&A support.
