About The Position

An exciting opportunity exists for a college graduate to join our RF/Microwave Engineering Test Team at the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon in Andover, MA. This department develops, designs, tests and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience/coursework in one or more of the following: RF/microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Electromagnetics
Lab experience specific to RF/microwave device and circuit measurements
Knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis and troubleshooting using common lab equipment.
Experience with any of the following software: Python, Labview, Keysight ADS, HFSS, Cadence Virtuoso, MATLAB, CST, Mentor Graphics’ Expedition, AutoCAD, TCAD, C++, Java, JMP

Responsibilities

Perform RF/microwave/millimeter-wave measurements on GaAs and GaN devices, modules and MMICs (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits)
Perform fixtured and on-wafer probe measurements
Assemble RF/microwave/millimeter-wave test systems
Use software to control test equipment and plot test results
Support the MMIC and module design teams
