About The Position

We are seeking an RF T&E engineer to help with T&E of various data-links. As a member of our team, you can contribute to planning, performing, standardizing, or improving our various test efforts. You would be joining a hardworking team of engineers and scientists from different sectors across APL. We are passionate about supporting our sponsor's mission and our team is committed to encouraging an environment centered on development and collaboration. As a RF/HWIL Test & Analysis Engineer you will work in a dynamic and high visibility environment in which your test results and analysis products directly impact sponsor and industry partner decisions and designs. Your primary responsibility will be participating in various RF test and analysis efforts across our lab. You will have the opportunity to contribute to existing hardware and software tools and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

  • Possess a BS in Electrical, Computer, other Engineering specialty, or other related technical field.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience working with RF test equipment or performing RF analysis tasks.
  • Able to use and write software tools in MATLAB, Python, C++, or C.
  • Willing and able to work the occasional nights/weekends to support sponsor needs.
  • Able to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance by start date and can ultimately obtain a Secret level clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship.

Nice To Haves

  • Possess a MS in Electrical, Computer, other Engineering specialty, or other related technical field.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience working with RF test equipment or performing RF analysis tasks.
  • Able to develop software tools in MATLAB, Python, C++, or C to automate test and evaluation efforts.
  • Have a Secret security clearance or above with eligibility to work SAP programs.
