About The Position

This Mid-Level High‑Power Antenna Test Technician is responsible for planning, setting up, and executing high‑power RF antenna tests in compliance with test plans, specifications, and safety standards. The technician operates a suite of RF test instruments (e.g., spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, power meters, signal generators, high‑power amplifiers, and RF switches), collects accurate performance data, performs routine equipment maintenance, and works side‑by‑side with engineers to troubleshoot and validate antenna‑system behavior. All test activities are documented in AF test reports, and electronic data‑capture systems while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. Littleton, Colorado manufacturing facility.

Requirements

  • Must work a 2nd Shift, 9x80A-9,9,9,9,8 hrs/d in Wk 1- 9,9,9,9,OFF in wk2
  • High school diploma or equivalent/combined education.
  • Basic computer skills including experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work alternate shifts when required to support ongoing business operations.
  • Able to work occasional holiday and weekends to support key critical business operations.
  • Ability to decipher and follow various engineering specifications.
  • Able to comprehend and follow work instructions.
  • Ability to lift/transport equipment up to 50 lb and maneuver test hardware on racks or carts.
  • US Citizen with ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics or process flow diagrams.
  • Hands on experience with torque tools, wire routing, and other assembly processes.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficiency with network analyzers and other test equipment.
  • Basic understanding of vacuum processes and technology.
  • Familiarity with mechanical/physics concepts such as vibration, force, and thermodynamics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing principles such as 6S and AS9100.

Responsibilities
