About The Position

As an RF electrical engineer for Tactical Communications, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for providing rapid prototype mission critical solutions to our customer community. This role involves RF Design & Product Development, including RF PCB schematic and layout design, hands-on lab work optimizing and evaluating RF circuits using state of the art tools and test equipment. You will also be involved in the design and evaluation of RF front ends, IF sections, filters, phase-locked loops, AGC loops, synthesizers, power amplifiers, etc. using design automation tools like Keysight ADS, Cadence, and Matlab. You will make substantial contributions to the analysis and/or definition of electrical requirements, RF performance, components, and interfaces, as well as formulating, evaluating, and implementing solutions to technical issues, conducting technical reviews of peer work, and evaluating vendor capability. Security clearance may be required.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
  • Requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree plus 6 months relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Proficient using electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
  • Background in test, troubleshooting, and reading circuit card schematics
