About The Position

Identifying quality defects on pallets with damaged materials and repairing/replacing the materials in a safe and efficient manner. Occasionally operate stationary warehouse equipment as well as a forklift to transport materials.

Requirements

Must have experience operating mobile equipment around pedestrian traffic.
Must have some sit-down forklift experience.
Must be able to read and write.
Must be able to do basic math.
Must be able to do physical labor for extended periods of time.
Must have 2 years of relevant work experience.
18 years or older
Have a valid driver’s license
Legally able to work in the U.S.
Pass a drug screen, physical and background check.

Responsibilities

Ensures all safety, environmental and operational procedures are followed.
Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements
Maintains the confidentiality of company, customer and personnel information.
Performs all pre-operational checks to ensure equipment is fit for purpose.
Reports any damage or defects as discovered.
Performs safe pallet movements from point A to point B.
Manually lifting and transporting 55 lbs. bags of material.
Wrapping several pallets, a day.
Takes necessary precautions to avoid damaging customer, company, or 3rd party property/equipment/product/etc.
Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
