About The Position

The Reworker Labor Team Member is responsible for reworking poultry products to ensure product quality and maximize yield while maintaining food safety and production standards. This position plays a key role in identifying, sorting, processing, and reintroducing approved products back into the production process. Team members must work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively in a fast-paced poultry processing environment. This facility will not accept applicants that have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times. This facility accepts rehires after 365 days. Certain roles at Tyson require background checks. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and process product designated for rework according to plant procedures.
  • Inspect and sort product to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Open packages and remove products for reprocessing as needed.
  • Dispose of packaging materials and waste in designated containers.
  • Rotate and manage rework inventory using established procedures.
  • Record and maintain accurate production and inventory documentation.
  • Perform quality checks and follow all food safety requirements.
  • Stack, move, and transport product and materials throughout the department.
  • Assist with loading and unloading product when required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area through routine housekeeping activities.
  • Support production operations by performing assigned job rotations and cross-training activities.
  • Follow all Tyson policies regarding safety, food safety, quality assurance, animal welfare, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
