About The Position

First Quality Retail Services is seeking a Rework associate for their facility located in Lewistown, PA. This position will be responsible for operating packaging sealing equipment in a safe, competent, and efficient manner. The role involves inspecting, labeling, and packaging products into designated cartons and cases in preparation for shipment, as well as completing required quality and production paperwork. The associate will also maintain good housekeeping in the facility and assist in other production areas as needed.

Requirements

• Completion of all required training and assessments.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate orally and written.
• Ability to work in a team orientated environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
• Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines.
• Sequentially start-up and operate designated packaging equipment, manual hand sealers, stretch wrappers, and utilizing proper procedures, competently and productively.
• Performs quality checks on the finished product according to QA guidelines for each product.
• Maintain quality standards for the product being produced.
• Ensures proper raw materials are in place.
• Sticker and tape bags and boxes as needed.
• Re-bag product using Optima during downtime.
• Keeps the machines and surrounding areas clean and orderly.
• Assists other team members when required.
• Completes all necessary paperwork accurately and properly.
• Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
