About The Position
The Rework Specialist is responsible for repairing and refinishing vehicle bodies by utilizing liquid paint and bondo. This role involves repairing and refinishing vehicle bodies, straightening vehicle frames, and repairing dents with bondo. The specialist will also spray and powder coat truck bodies, mix paint, and apply a wide variety of coatings to achieve a high-grade finish on parts and bodies. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities for cleaning and maintaining equipment, and adding or removing hazardous waste.
Requirements
- Skill required to repair and fix quality industrial products
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Responsibilities
- Repair and refinish vehicle bodies and straighten vehicle frames
- Repair dents with bondo
- Spray and powder coat truck bodies
- Mix paint, powder coat, enamels and applies a wide variety of coatings to obtain high grade finish on parts and bodies
- Responsible for clean and maintaining equipment
- Add or remove hazardous waste
