Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience as a machine operator preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing and production procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player
Responsibilities
- Rewind large rolls by threading up the machine and running rolls to customers desired lengths.
- Wrap and identify finished rolls of fabric and bundle or palletize if required.
- Tag rolls for identification
- Rewind rolls on hold by threading up and running roll to the area of flaw, remove flaw by splicing it if required.
- Conduct quality checks on material as required.
- Assist on the Coater as necessary (wrapping rolls or other duties trained to do).
- Clean up, sweep area around the machine including the main aisle.
- Bundle and bail scrap material.
- Wear safety shoes and hearing protection at all times.
