About The Position

We are looking for a skilled Revit Design Specialist to join our team at Singer Equipment Company. This role involves creating detailed design and specifications for commercial kitchen layouts and systems using Revit software, ensuring that projects meet industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma with technical training in drafting and design.
1-2 years of experience in Revit drafting and design.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF editing software (Bluebeam preferred).
Knowledge of drafting and drawing formatting standards.
Knowledge of mechanical drafting.
2-4 years of experience with Autodesk Revit.
Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, team environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be physically able to perform field survey of equipment to document manufacturer model/serial numbers existing facilities.

Nice To Haves

2-4 years of experience in the food service industry is preferred.
1-2 years of experience with AutoQuotes is preferred.

Responsibilities

Create accurate and operationally efficient kitchen layouts and equipment specifications using Revit, adhering to client requirements and best practices.
Work closely with internal and external customers, including architects and engineers, to integrate kitchen designs into overall facility plans, ensuring functionality.
Prepare detailed KEC drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction and installation.
Prepare mechanical drawings, including electrical and plumbing rough-ins based off cutbooks created by the estimators.
Participate in meetings, providing design input and updates while addressing any design-related questions or concerns.
Modify designs based on client feedback, site conditions, or project changes, ensuring timely completion of revisions.
Distribute drawings for quoting to outside vendors.
Stay informed about the latest trends for kitchen equipment and technologies to provide innovative solutions to clients.
Review designs for accuracy and completeness, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the design process.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with internal and external constituents.
