About The Position
FAR Inspections is seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in Putnam County, Georgia, and surrounding communities. This role involves performing brief, exterior visits to confirm property status and report on general conditions. As a Field Inspector, you will have autonomy to manage your own routing, schedule, and territory, with standard inspections designed for speed, typically requiring only 5-6 minutes on-site. The position offers stable, month-to-month volume in your assigned county, with an earning potential of $25-$35 per hour for efficient contractors. This role requires significant driving within a rural county with longer drives between stops, making a fuel-efficient vehicle and comfort with country roads valuable.
Requirements
- Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.
- Smartphone (Android or iPhone) capable of running mobile reporting apps.
- Computer with an internet connection and a printer.
- Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
- Ability to pass a standard background check.
- Comfort with country roads.
