The Revenue Security & Asset Recovery Specialist is responsible for retaining account data, processing field evidence, and thoroughly and comprehensively performing account research of data, field evidence, and activities. This includes, but is not limited to, corrective action from cross-meter and lost-meter investigations, with the objective of providing Revenue Management with appropriate billing corrections and validations. Process all meter investigation documents and documentation in compliance with Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) substantive rules. Assist with providing necessary documents pertaining to customer and/or competitive retailer inquiries. Provide information to internal and external stakeholders to pursue corrective action and prepare root cause analyses. Develop reporting methods for internal and external stakeholders in an effort to reduce and eliminate cross-meter and lost-meter incidents. Directly answer phone inquiries from customers and competitive retailers concerning customer charges related to cross-meter and lost-meter investigations and account details. Review data to establish appropriate billing for competitive retailers and/or end-use customers. Assist with the processes of locating and discovering incorrect metering through account research and technical analysis of premise and meter data.
