About The Position

This is a remote-first role based anywhere in the United States. Preference given to candidates local to the Beaverton, Oregon, area for occasional in-person collaboration. Join a mission-based team working to build a more sustainable future by eliminating global food waste. Food waste is one of the biggest global issues of our time. More than a third of the world’s food is wasted. And one of our biggest opportunity zones is the foodservice and hospitality industries, where an estimated 28% of global food waste occurs. Reducing food waste is a financial, sustainability, and moral imperative. At Leanpath, we are a group of diverse and passionate technologists, sustainability experts, culinarians, and analysts who come together to achieve our mission each and every day: to make food waste prevention everyday practice in the world’s kitchens. We are looking for a detail-oriented Revenue Operations Specialist to join our Business Operations (BizOps) team. In this role, you will be the "engine room" of our sales and renewal process. Your primary focus will be the hands-on processing of orders, renewals, and amendments within our Salesforce instance. You will act as a vital bridge between our systems and our Customer Success team, ensuring that every deal—whether it’s a new sale, a transfer, or a complex renewal—is documented correctly and flows smoothly through to invoicing. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in RevOps. You will get hands-on experience in one of the most complex and in-demand areas of the Salesforce ecosystem (CPQ & Billing) while playing a visible role in the success of our Customer Success and Finance teams.

Requirements

  • Salesforce Experience: 1–3 years of experience working within Salesforce in a subscription based (recurring revenue) business. Direct experience with Salesforce CPQ is highly preferred.
  • Process-Driven: You enjoy following a clear workflow and have a "check-it-twice" mentality when it comes to data entry.
  • Problem Solver: You are comfortable digging into a quote or an amendment to figure out why the numbers aren't lining up.
  • Collaborative Spirit: You enjoy helping others and can explain technical steps to team members in a clear, friendly way.
  • Organization: Ability to manage a high volume of tasks and orders without letting details slip through the cracks.

Responsibilities

  • Order Processing & System Execution
  • Daily Order Management: Execute the end-to-end processing of new sales, renewals, transfers, and contract amendments within Salesforce CPQ.
  • Billing Alignment: Ensure all orders are accurately staged for the Salesforce Billing module to guarantee error-free invoicing for our Finance team.
  • Data Hygiene: Actively monitor and update contract records to ensure start/end dates, quantities, and pricing are 100% accurate.
  • Customer Success Support
  • CS Enablement: Serve as the "go-to" partner for Account Managers and Directors, helping them generate accurate quotes and navigate the CPQ process.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide timely support when the CS team encounters system errors or complex quoting scenarios, escalating technical bugs to the senior BizOps team when necessary.
  • Process Consistency: Help the CS team follow established workflows so that our customer data remains clean and reportable.
  • Documentation & Standards Support
  • Knowledge Base Contributor: Help draft and update internal "How-To" guides and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for CPQ and order workflows. Conduct demos and trainings internally.
  • Standard Enforcement: Review incoming orders to ensure they meet our internal data standards before they are finalized.
  • Feedback Loop: Identify recurring "pain points" in the renewal or amendment process and suggest simple improvements to the BizOps lead.
  • Reporting & Coordination
  • Dashboard Maintenance: Keep existing Salesforce dashboards up to date to ensure the CS and Sales teams have visibility into their upcoming renewals and pending orders.
  • Cross-Functional Sync: Coordinate with Finance and Customer Success to resolve any discrepancies between signed contracts and system data.

Benefits

  • We offer our team members a flexible work environment with mostly remote working (some in-person meetings required).
  • We fully pay for the employee’s health, vision, and dental insurance (with options to add family at your expense).
  • We believe in health and balance and offer unlimited time off to recharge.
  • Most importantly, we offer the opportunity to contribute to very meaningful work and solutions for our planet surrounded by kind and like-minded people.
