About The Position

Basis is building its revenue operations function from the ground up, and we're looking for a generalist to grow with it. This is a role for someone who wants to do a little bit of everything—analytics, strategy, systems, enablement—and learn what great revenue operations look like from the people building it. You'll partner directly with the Founding RevOps and the Head of GTM, sitting at the intersection of strategy and execution. We expect you to be sharp, relentless, and willing to own anything that needs owning. There's a direct path to grow into Sales Ops, Pricing, or RevOps leadership as Basis scales.

Requirements

  • A foundation in investment banking or consulting, paired with a strong academic record.
  • A willingness to do anything and everything. You run toward unowned problems and figure them out.
  • Strong Excel skills and an aptitude for working with data—you can build models, run analyses, and have a sense for what good data looks like (SQL a plus, or a willingness to learn it fast).
  • First-principle thinker with high autonomy and low ego—you identify what needs to happen, drive it yourself, and don't wait to be told how.
  • Clear written communicator—your analyses, SOPs, and documentation are clean and ready to ship.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to a CRM like HubSpot or Salesforce, or eagerness to go deep on one.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) and a track record of using them to produce better work faster.
  • Prior exposure to B2B SaaS, fintech, or professional services—through work, internships, or coursework.

Responsibilities

  • Support territory design, segmentation, forecasting, capacity planning, and QBR prep alongside the Founding RevOps and the Head of GTM. The analyses you run will inform how leadership allocates headcount, prioritizes markets, and sizes the opportunity—and you'll be in the room when those calls get made.
  • Help build the pricing and packaging models that shape how we monetize and compete.
  • Help build and maintain the reporting the sales org runs on—pipeline health, conversion rates, quota attainment, forecasting inputs, and board deck data pulls.
  • Support AE onboarding into the GTM toolstack—help build training materials, run sessions, and make sure reps are productive on day one.
  • Write and maintain SOPs for the sales org. Document everything—if it's not written down, it doesn't exist.
  • Help run the CRM day-to-day—data hygiene, field mapping, workflow logic, and keeping the system clean and trustworthy.
  • Audit, fix, and maintain automations across the revenue stack. We have a backlog of broken workflows that need a clear-eyed owner.
