Primary job duties include: Collecting/resolving debt and enforcing tax laws in routine cases through research and taxpayer contact/follow-up, with a focus on the security of taxpayer data Assisting in prioritizing accounts in collection status by managing assigned case load and determining urgency using established selection criteria Preparing/submitting required reports, with guidance Assisting in providing taxpayer assistance to include: Providing basic assistance and referring taxpayers to use our free online tax portal (MyDORWAY) Processing Business Tax Applications Filing basic returns (current and delinquent) Adjusting/issuing assessments and liens Assisting in performing inspections of Sales, Coin Operated Device (COD), and Admissions licenses Assisting with writing violations to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations Developing, updating, and reviewing section procedures
