About The Position

Kingsmill Resort Seeking – Revenue Manager Kingsmill Resort, Williamsburg Virginia – Revenue Manager to assist the sales and operations teams in maximizing all revenue opportunities. The specific duties are: Develop and execute strategies to optimize RevPAR Leverage yield management strategies to make pricing decisions for all market segments and make final decisions on market segment mix Create promotions and packages for holidays and special events to drive rooms. Organize condo rate structure seasonally and weekly. Determine group rates and structure. Set channel management strategies to optimize mix and maintain relationships Perform daily analysis of pace, pickup, and pricing Be accountable to the general manager and to the home office for the entire hospitality revenue stream Lead the weekly revenue strategy meeting with representatives from sales, marketing, and hospitality operations disciplines

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in hotel management/administration, a business discipline, economics, statistics or other relevant field
  • Work experience in hotel revenue management, business/strategy consulting, or another role focused on data/revenue analytics
  • Understanding of revenue management principles and optimization strategies
  • Understanding of channels, market segments, and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to turn data into insights and leverage that analysis to inform high-level strategic decisions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills that allow communicate effectively with leadership at the resort and in the corporate office based on synthesizing complex analysis into well-supported/persuasive recommendations and strategies
  • Ability to lift, push, pull a minimum of 25 lbs, stand, walk, sit for an extended period of time up to 8 hour shift, stoop, kneel reach or perform repetitive foot and hand action
  • Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, this position may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs including days, nights weekends and holidays to meet with clients and potential clients
  • Must possess a valid Drivers’ License
