The Revenue Manager is responsible for driving total revenue performance across a designated furnished unit portfolio through strategic pricing, inventory management, demand forecasting, and distribution optimization. This role requires a balance of analytical rigor and commercial judgment, with a strong emphasis on influencing outcomes through collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Ownership stakeholders. This is a remote position and travel may be required between locations is required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years in the hotel or hospitality sector, with three or more years of direct hotel revenue management experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of hotel revenue management fundamentals, including transient and group pricing, displacement analysis, forecasting, and distribution strategy.
  • Experience with hotel revenue management systems strongly preferred, including Duetto, IDeaS, Atomize, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with property management systems and CRS platforms such as Opera, SynXis, Amadeus, or Sabre preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong comfort working with data, forecasts, and performance reporting.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability paired with sound commercial judgment in dynamic market conditions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, collaboratively, and persuasively when necessary, including influencing pricing and inventory decisions across Sales, Operations, and ownership audiences.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain revenue decisions beyond the metrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build credibility with on-property and corporate stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • The Revenue Manager serves as both a pricing expert and a strategic advisor, translating market dynamics into actionable decisions that optimize ADR, occupancy, RevPAR, and overall profitability.
  • Develop and execute revenue strategies across transient, group, and contracted segments, informed by demand forecasts, booking pace, market intelligence, and historical performance.
  • Lead daily pricing and inventory decisions, including BAR strategy, length-of-stay controls, rate fencing, and inventory allocation across channels.
  • Actively manage distribution strategy, ensuring optimal channel mix, rate parity, and cost efficiency across brand.com, OTAs, wholesale, and direct channels.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, positioning, promotional activity, and compression indicators, maintaining a deep understanding of local demand generators, event calendars, and macro trends.
  • Partner closely with Sales teams to evaluate group opportunities, displacement analysis, and pricing decisions that balance short-term volume with long-term profitability.
  • Oversee forecast accuracy and lead weekly and monthly forecasting processes, including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and total revenue projections.
  • Leverage the Revenue Management System to execute and validate recommendations, ensuring system outputs align with market conditions and strategic objectives.
  • Lead weekly revenue strategy meetings, presenting clear insights, risks, and recommendations to Operations, Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Develop and maintain performance reporting and dashboards to track key metrics, booking trends, channel performance, and pricing effectiveness.
  • Support the new deal underwriting process by providing market-level revenue assumptions, demand analysis, rate strategy inputs, and performance scenarios to inform acquisition, development, and repositioning decisions.
  • Oversee and support rate administration tasks, including rate loading, channel mapping, rate code governance, and system audits across PMS, CRS, and distribution channels to ensure accuracy, parity, and compliance with approved pricing strategies.
  • Identify internal and external risks, including demand softness, competitive supply, or channel cost pressure, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Provide clear narrative context around performance results to ensure learnings inform future strategy and decision-making.
  • Act as a revenue thought partner to Operations, Sales, and Marketing, aligning pricing and positioning with brand standards and guest experience expectations.
