About The Position

Position Overview: High impact, visible role in revenue accounting, reporting to the Revenue Controller in a fast-growing public company. Responsible for maintaining quality and integrity of financial reporting in partnership with the US commercial go-to-market teams. Responsibilities: Reconciliation and analysis of complex accounting areas, such as: gross-to-net accounting related to pharmacy rebates and chargebacks, situations concerning consideration payable to customers, and other sales reserves. Provide support for accounting for new business initiatives. In coordination with the Revenue Controller, assist with various projects and accounting matters and drive value within the business. Work with external auditors to provide required schedules and support. Perform other duties as assigned. Perform primary review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses associated with the monthly and quarterly close process. Interface with the Market Access team to understand the Company’s go-to-market strategy and associated programs. Proactively partner with the business and FP&A to understand transactions to ensure accounting is appropriate. Maintain quality and timeliness of internal control requirements associated with revenue reporting within the team. Support various ongoing projects throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, MSA / MBA a plus
  • CPA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of public accounting and/or corporate experience at life sciences entities preferred
  • Individual with a track record of streamlining processes.
  • Team leader as well as a team player, with strong management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with SAP a plus
  • Ability to organize and judge priorities.
  • Deadline and detail oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Effective communicator across levels of management and functional organizations
  • Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office Software, especially Excel
