About The Position

The Distribution Optimization Manager will support the Revenue Management and Leisure Sales team by facilitating the maintenance and build-out of channel management connectivity via our Central Reservation System and applicable intermediaries to all of the property’s distribution channels, including Leisure partners, OTAs, GDS, etc. This position is eligible for remote work in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, and Nevada, with less than 10% required travel to the office in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, hospitality, or related field; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Four (4) years of revenue management or channel distribution experience, preferably in hospitality and hotel operations, with at least one (1) year of supervisory experience.
  • Must be a quick learner and adapt to a dynamic, fluid working environment.
  • Must be extremely detailed oriented and have a high degree of problem-solving abilities.
  • Willing to work on developing and managing key relationships across the resort and with Distribution and Leisure Sales clients.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work products, with consistency, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to present findings from quantitative data to a general audience.

  • Experience with strategy creation and execution with several different operating departments in a property.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a large, luxury resort preferred.
  • Experience with other Hotel and Administration systems including but not limited to Revenue Management systems, Delphi, GuestRev, GroupRev, etc., preferred.
  • Experience in Infor/HMS or Cendyn/Pegasus (preferred).
  • Prior use in Channel Management Technology platforms (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Tableau data reporting technology (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Set up and facilitate new integration partners through CRS, using discretion to ensure optimal, efficient, and consistent connections through testing and audit.
  • Independently manage rates and availability to Leisure distribution channels via connectivity platforms as well as Travel Agency and Consortia channels via the GDS.
  • Build out and map all rate plans and new promotions as needed based on Revenue Management and distribution optimization strategies.
  • Serve as the primary lead and liaison to the Fontainebleau Las Vegas IT team regarding CRS system performance and partner connectivity.
  • Research, document, and analyze OTA insight for rate parity violations via Distribution and Metasearch channels.
  • Perform test bookings on Distribution channel websites when rate parity issues occur to ensure consistency across all channels with brand.com.
  • Complete Distribution and Leisure account pricing shops to determine how Fontainebleau Las Vegas compares to the comp set.
  • Ensure all channels are receiving and listing applicable promotions properly and tagged accordingly.
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.
