About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Associate Revenue Manager is to analyze and prepare various reports on all financial aspects of Hotel Operations as they relate to yielding, budgeting, staffing, scheduling, revenue generation and cost control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ Years of prior relevant experience in Revenue management experience.

  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
  • Experience in financial analysis, accounting principles and theories with the successful application of these concepts in a hospitality environment

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting rooms and revenue, setting rates, and determining availability for each market segment, maximizing total REVPAR.
  • Ensuring maximum exposure, inventory availability and rate/revenue opportunities are consistently maintained and monitored.
  • Preparing for and leading weekly forecast/strategy meetings.
  • Assisting with management of block utilization to maximize revenue.
  • Responsible for design and/or approval of all packages.
  • Managing all group and convention activity ensuring all revenue opportunities and procedural guidelines are met.
  • Providing analytical overview with regard to external trends, enhancements and marketing opportunities existing on various distribution channels.
  • Providing new and insightful hotel strategy recommendations on a regular basis to senior management.
  • Developing/preparing various managerial reports for executive review.
  • Preparing and providing financial analysis as required.
