About The Position
Southwoods Health is seeking a dynamic Revenue Integrity Coordinator to join our team at the Southwoods Executive Centre in Boardman, Ohio. This is a leadership opportunity to shape the billing, coding, and charge master operations for both Triad Health Services and The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods. The role offers a hybrid flexibility option for remote work after initial onboarding and involves mentoring a team, optimizing workflows, and acting as the Subject Matter Expert for a premier healthcare system.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in billing and coding
- Problem-solver with an eagle eye for detail
- Communication skills to lead a diverse team
Nice To Haves
- Prior supervisory or "lead" experience
- Coding credential (CCS, CPC, RHIT, RHIA, or CCA)
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR)
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily coding and charge master operations
- Manage staff productivity
- Foster a high-performing culture through coaching and professional development
- Monitor work queues and DNFB (Discharged Not Final Billed) reports to ensure facility-specific goals are met with precision
- Assist in the training and onboarding of new staff
- Conduct annual evaluations
- Manage administrative duties like payroll and scheduling
- Drive success as measured by benchmark outcomes, audit results, and employee satisfaction
